Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the importance of a study of the measure of information for spatial signal processing, mainly for sonar signal processing.
For instance emphasis is given here to the Kullback directed divergence and to the Bhattacharyya divergence.
The problems of identification of the sources subspace and of the parameters of sources and ambiant noise are treated in the general case for these measures of information.
