Abstract
Microphotometric tracings of the spectrograms of carbon stars with the dispersion of 8A/mm from the spectral region λ 7800 to λ 8800 are discussed in connection with the identification of 12CN, 13CN, HCN, [CI] λ8727, and telluric H2O lines. The microphotometric tracing of the same region of an M-type star μ Cep seems very helpful for the identification of telluric H2O lines.
