Abstract
We are facing a multicriteria decision making problem (briefly MDM) whenever we are to select “the best one” out of a set of alternatives H each element of which is evaluated by a number of incommensurable criteria. Very often we cannot characterize some of the criteria numerically and even stochastic elements can enter the problem making the choice more difficult and complex.
