Abstract
There has been a lot of interest in the study of the Eden model in recent years. It is known that Eden clusters are compact in any dimension.1 The model can be solved exactly on the Bethe lattice,2 and a systematic expansion in powers of (1/d) about the d = ∞ solution can be developed.3 The scaling properties of the average width of the active region have been studied by simulations4 and also in a theoretical model,5 but are not well understood. In addition, the vibrational spectra of Eden clusters without loops have been studied.6
