Preparation of Blends

  • Chapter
Polymer Blends and Mixtures

Part of the book series: NATO ASI Series ((NSSE,volume 89))

Abstract

The preparation of a blend is important both from the point of view of its properties and its economics. In this section the discussion will center on the influence of preparation method on the properties of the blend. Further insight into blending technology will be provided in the lectures on Rubber Blends, Processing and Rheology, and Interfacial Agents.
