  • Chapter

Abstract

Several concepts from basic cardiovascular physiology have and are being applied to clinical imaging. The purpose of this chapter is to review recent studies which addressed the relationship between regional myocardial blood flow and regional contractile function. The abbreviated term we have used to describe this subject is myocardial ‘flow-function relations’.
