CW Doppler with Spectral Analysis in Acquired Valve Disease

  • Chapter
Cardiac Doppler Diagnosis

Part of the book series: Developments in Cardiovascular Medicine ((DICM,volume 29))

Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to describe our beginning experience with new on line video recordable spectral analysis equipment combined with Continuous Wave Doppler (CWD) and to “catalog” the various diagnostic spectra produced by cardiac valve abnormalities. The technique has been previously described. (1) (2).
