Part of the book series: Evaluation in Education and Human Services ((EEHS,volume 18))

Abstract

This chapter is divided into three sections. The first section is based upon reactions from Conference participants to Stufflebeam’s presentation on “The Relevance of the Standards for Improving Evaluations in Continuing Education in the Health Professions.” In general, participant comments were not addressed to specific points raised by Stufflebeam; rather, they served to focus attention on the perceived needs of evaluators in the health-professions education field and helped to identify areas for which the Standards met or fell short of the expectations of those evaluators in attendance.
