Abstract

In a recent study of 51Cr exchange in rats 9–18 months old it was noted that skeletal 51Cr decreased by 30% compared to 2 month old control rats (Wa85). The present study was undertaken to study this aging phenomenon further by additional experimentation and to collate our prior experience with skeletal 51Cr exchange in rats under pathologic and physiologic conditions.
