Abstract

Adjustment from the quadruped status to the bipedal mode of locomotion has added the hazard of falling to all the other consequences of the change, which may be anything from flat feet, osteoarthritis, herniae, prolapsed discs and kyphosis, down to an ordinary trip fall.
