Summary

On a lot of 57 biological sewage sludges coming from civil and industrial plants, the following parameters have been researched: total organic carbon, animal and vegetal fats and oils, mineral oils, surfactants, chlorinated solvents, aromatic solvents, chlorinated pesticides, phenols, aldehydes. All the alalysed sludges had previously passed the biological assay and had a eavy metal content below the prescripted limits (EEC proposal). At the doses prescribed in Lombardy Region, all the detected compounds supply to soils seems roughly negligible.
