Statistical Aspects of the Relationship Between Oceanic Whitecap Coverage Wind Speed and other Environmental Factors

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Oceanographic Sciences Library ((OCSL,volume 2))

Abstract

The major purpose of this paper is to review the various statistical methods which have been applied by the authors to evaluate the nature of the dependence of oceanic whitecap coverage (W) on 10 m elevation wind speed (U), and on a number of other environmental factors.
