Peculiarities of Mean Kinetic Energy Dependence of Fragments at Nuclei Fission by Neutrons

Abstract

Mean kinetic energy Ēk of fission fragments from the fission of 234U by 0.8 MeV neutrons has been measured. The results suggest a decrease of Ēk if the fission goes through a vibrational resonance.
