Finite Decomposable Sequential Systems in the Category of Semigroups

  • Chapter
Cybernetics and Systems ’86

Abstract

The notion of decomposable finite sequential system in the category of semigroups is introduced. The paper deals with the reducibility, controllability and p-definiteness properties. It is shown that many statements concerning the linear systems preserve their validity for the systems considered in this paper. For example it is proved that, under certain assumptions, the observability problem for reduced systems under considerations can be solved on the basis of a simple, single experiment.
