Abstract

Two models differing only in the surface layers are studied to determine how the derived frequencies are changed, These frequency changes can only be partially treated as being caused by a surface phase shift. Some portion of the uncompensated frequency change may be misinterpreted as a result of an internal diferenct between the models.
