Abstract
Tradition allows an Afterword certain violations of genre, something personal, a certain, albeit very limited, lyricism. I should like to relate some impressions and thoughts evoked by the cultural monuments of Paris, which are also reflected in the contents of this book.
This Afterword was written originally as the Introduction to the (unpublished) French translation of Reason and Being. — Eds.)
