Abstract
The glass forming ability (GFA) of metallic alloys is usually accounted for in terms of thermodynamics and kinetics parameters. Structural parameters do not explicitely enter such approaches though the atomic size ratio rx/rMin binary M1-xXx alloys has obviously some link with GFA as was recently shown by EGAMI and WASEDA (1).
