Abstract
The technology of plant tissue culture for mass propagation is well developed for industrial applications. Indeed, world-wide there are more than 200 commercial micropropagation laboratories (6). Increasing numbers of universities, governmental institutions, research venture companies and botanical gardens are also actively involved in the application of tissue culture technologies.
