Abstract

Police and social work, in general are opposed to each other. The police have the tasks of control and of crime prevention. Their main obligation is to detect crime, to clear up a case, to investigate and to convict a suspect. Their methods include the whole spectrum of forensic techniques and strategies. Police tasks are defined very clearly; their procedure is well regulated.
