Summary
Changes in glutamine synthetase (E.C. 6.3.1.2) activity was studied during growth and development of Chickpea in the leaves, roots and nodules of nodulated and unnodulated plants. Glutamine synthetase isoforms were separated and two isoforms found in nodules, one of which appears to be nodule specific.
