Abstract

As far as the scientific achievements are concerned, you have had, at this Symposium, a preview presentation, four detailed sessions, four highlights presentations and one highlight of the highlights. The message must now be very clear. We have achieved significant successes in each of the themes. We have proved, beyond question, that with the assistance of the Commission, we can successfully undertake collaborative research between complementary research units, and across national borders.
