Summary
The results presented represent a summary of the coordinated research projects undertaken by CELAC (Belgium), WIRA (UK) and ITT (FRG). The results point the way to new opportunities for rationalising current methods of preparation for wool wastes. The reclaimed fibres can be used for end-products of higher qualith than is usual at present. The spinning process can be shortened by the application of unconventional spinning techniques. We call on industry to cooperate with the institutes in making practical use of the results.
