Abstract

Ventricular tachycardia (VT) following a myocardial infarction may require surgical correction, when resistant to medical treatment. For precise and less damaging surgery, a careful preoperative and intraoperative mapping is mandatory, as the morphology of VT on standard ecg has been demonstrated not to be indicative of its origin (1).
