Abstract
Unstable angina is a well-recognized anginal syndrome intermediate in severity between chronic stable angina and myocardial infarction. [1.2] Though known by a number of different terms, this condition is often premonitory to an acute myocardial infarction. Surgical revascularization in this setting obviously is of great potential benefit to reverse myocardial ischemia and prevent infarction.
