Abstract

As soon as coronary and left ventricular cineangiograms are analyzed quantitatively on a more or less routine basis for clinical diagnostic or research studies, the need arises very quickly to store all the quantitative results in a database. The advantages of such approach are evident: (1) structurized storage of these quantitative data; (2) readily accessibility of the data and results presented in a convenient manner; and (3) possibility of statistical analysis of the results of studies using standardly available statistical packages.
