A review of 35 years experience in the management of urinary incontinence

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Developments in Surgery ((DISU,volume 7))

Abstract

My review will be historical rather than scientific. Moreover, it concerns the way that I, during almost 40 years, have experienced this history. And, as is usual in a review article, I have gathered some personal and perhaps opinionated concepts. It is, by the way, a dubious privilege to have been able to observe Urology for such a long period of time. I would like to focus on stress incontinence, especially in women.
