Abstract
This case describes the documentation of the development of a major staff development program for secondary teachers, the Schenley High School Teacher Center. The case is divided into six main sections: the background of the teacher center; its basic structure; the origins of the management request for program documentation; the methodologies employed in documenting the center; examples of research results produced; and the use made of documentation information by system managers.
