Abstract
Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s) have gained increased acceptance over the last decade and this has seen marked improvement in both their application and capability. There are a number of factors which have contributed to this acceptance, but within the scope of this paper we will confine ourselves to looking at the Operational Limitations and how they have been overcome, or at least diminished.
