Abstract
A number of differing techniques are now available for the repair and structural strengthening of offshore steel jacket structures. These exhibit a wide range of complexity and structural efficiency. With improved analytical methods and our increased understanding of the structural and fatigue behaviour of offshore structures there comes a need for greater sophistication in the underwater engineering of such solutions.
