Abstract

This section deals with the legislative and administrative procedures for the incorporation of ecological information into the decision-making process. Whilst many planning procedures are available and have been used, the papers in this section are concerned mainly with formalized EIA procedures in view of their widespread use and applicability as a framework for impact analysis.
