Abstract
In this study the problems involved in the production of satisfactory mouldings of two items are described. The optimizing of process conditions to overcome the problems are found by studying ‘short shots’ which reveal flow paths in the mould cavities. The third part of the study then deals with more general aspects of the way in which process conditions are controlled.
