Abstract
When planning the production schedulling resulting from an existing mining method, numerical models of the spatial variability of the grades and geometry of mineralized phases of a deposit are required previous to the simulation of the mining methods.
This paper presents a simulation of the geometry of lignite seams, which are intermingled with barren, using the conditional simulation of indicator data.
Inside the simulated geometry of lignite seams, the classical Conditional Simulation is applied for the lignite heat values.
