Abstract
Decision making in groups has been the subject of research in different disciplines. Especially political science, (social) psychology and economics did and do pay attention to problems that occur in the context of group decision making. Each of these disciplines has its own focus ranging from voting paradoxes and power relations via group influences on individual decision making to optimal normative decision procedures.
