Abstract
The EAS Array of Akeno is described about its present status on observation of ultra high energy gamma rays. The high rate observation by a new recording system has started in December 1985. A preliminary analysis shows that the PeV gamma ray flux from Cyg X-3 may have been in an enhancement of a factor of five since the radio outburst in October 1985.
