Abstract

Polish energetic industry relies almost entirely upon the hard and brown coals. As a consequence, there are the big problems with disposal of the large quantities of produced fly-ashes. Most of the fly-ashes are stored, and therefore the negative effect of the fly-ash storage on ground water and atmosphere appears. Due to that phenomena, a sealing of the fly-ash waste areas seems to be necessary.
