Abstract
Much has been done in Denmark in the past 15 years with regard to solving environmental problems. The development of administrative and legislative systems as well as the rapid growth of the Danish National Agency of Environmental Protection have led to that position Denmark has obtained in Europe: Denmark must be regarded as one of the leading nations concerning environmental protection.
