Abstract

My presentation will cover Soviet metallurgy and metallurgical engineering education at the Diploma level, research and development at the Candidat level, and touch briefly on the Soviet Doctorate. An evaluation will also be made of research and development at the professional level (Academy facilities as well as industrial facilities).
