Abstract
I am grateful to Dr.Cleave for his systematic formulation of some of my logico-philosophical ideas and for his original contribution, which consists in his showing that my logic of inexactness is related to quasi-Boolean algebra, as classical logic is related to Boolean algebra and intuitionist logic to pseudo-Boolean algebra. That I accept his clarification and improvement of my work is not surprising, since we have for more than twenty years discussed philosophy and logic at regular intervals and since during this period I have never published anything on inexactness or continuity without first seeking his opinion and his general approval.
