Abstract

The moving regularity of a winding curved tube on a computer-controlled filament winding machine is discussed in this chapter. Kinematic equations of the fibre pay-out eye with geodesic and non-geodesic winding on a curved tube are given. Winding pattern design of a curved tube and corresponding calculation formulas are presented.
