Abstract
The results of a research project on fatigue properties of high-manganese steels for cryogenic use under the sponsorship of Science and Technology Agency of Japan are summarized. The temperature dependence of cyclic deformation, low cycle fatigue life, notch sensitivity and near threshold fatigue crack growth rate are discussed.
