Abstract
RTC operations, and those of other pyrites producers in the Andevallo, were unusual in comparison with most mining operations in that a high proportion of the output was sold with no physical beneficiation, although much of it was, in the first half of this century, leached or “washed” to recover much of its copper. Consequently selection and classification of “mineral” was based on both analysis and physical condition.
