Abstract

As the purpose of this seminar is to attempt to establish the state of the art in PET scanning and the lines of research for the near future, I am going to summarize the areas which in my opinion will benefit more immediately from the advent of multislice, high resolution tomography and from the development of new radiopharmaceuticals.
