Abstract

Cysticercosis has been recognized as a lesion occurring in childhood that is often difficult to distinguish from retinoblastoma both clinically and ultrasonographically. Also known as the ‘bladderworm’, cysticercosis cellulosae has a predilection for the central nervous system and eyes. It induces no inflammatory reaction when alive.
