Abstract
To appreciate the changes that occur as a result of pulmonary hypertension it is, perhaps, relevant to consider the normal histology of the pulmonary circulation. For convenience of description the pulmonary vasculature can be divided into:
-
the extrapulmonary vasculature;
-
the intrapulmonary vasculature.
Keywords
- Pulmonary Hypertension
- Primary Pulmonary Hypertension
- Intimal Thickening
- Severe Pulmonary Hypertension
- Muscular Artery
