Abstract
Firstly, let us get this chapter in perspective. The main purpose of this book is to present a method of acupuncture treatment suitable for conventional practising clinicians, such as has been outlined in the preceding chapters. The factors governing the choice of this method include – simplicity, ease of learning, effectiveness and logistical practicality. It can form a useful part of a therapeutic armamentarium in a conventional setting.
