Is it diurnal? Consider: Normal diurnal moodiness or if exaggerated, depressive illness.

Is the individual emotionally immature? Consider: Hysterical, sensitive personality.

iii.
Is the individual unreliable, unstable, unpredictable and unable to take responsibility? Consider: Psychopathic personality.

iv.
Does the individual show relatively long periods of either gloominess and sadness or high spirits and elation? Consider: Cyclothymic personality.
