Lifelong suspiciousness
This usually indicates a paranoid personality.

Is the patient’s attitude and behaviour par for the course? = another manifestation of personality reaction. Remember that the patient’s grievances may sometimes be genuine.

ii.
Is the patient’s reaction more intense than usual or are the ideas expressed delusional? Consider: paranoid reaction, paranoid psychosis, depressive illness or occult physical illness.
