Abstract

Gregarincs (Protozoa Apicomplcxa). obligatory parasites of Invertebrates, are especially frequent in Coleoptera. Among the latter many species of Chrysomelidae harbour Eugregarines in their digestive tractus. For a long time, up to the 1960’s, only a few of these parasites were recorded from these hosts but the methodic researches undertaken since then by Dr. P. Jolivet, the present author and Dr. I. Desportcs in various continents has brought up the existence of many new Gregarines in Chrysomelidae.
