Genetics of Chelymorpha cribraria, Cassidinae: colour patterns and their ecological meanings

  • Chapter
Biology of Chrysomelidae

Part of the book series: Series Entomologica ((SENT,volume 42))

Abstract

The Cassidinae are a chrysomelid subfamily with unique morphological, biological and ecological characteristics. The tortoise beetles have been poorly studied, and the majority of published papers concern systematic and natural history (see Buzzi 1988).
