Abstract
It is a great honor to be invited to visit Hungary. I have always known many Hungarians very closely, and some of them have greatly influenced my life. In particular, John von Neumann was my mentor for a certain time, shortly before he left Princeton, for public service in Washington. I was told he was the most Hungarian of the Hungarians, and now may I have a chance of seeing whether the story is right.
